Demo: Quartz Before and After

This is a small product demo showing the same content slice in two different site experiences:

The point is not pixel-perfect imitation. The point is to make the product difference concrete.

What This Demo Is Showing

  • The before page shows the current HB Robotics style: problem-first, curated, concise, with explicit onward links.
  • The after page shows a Quartz-style presentation: note metadata, backlinks, local graph, and more note-to-note exploration behavior.

What To Compare

  • Does the Quartz-style version make exploration feel better or just busier?
  • Are backlinks and graph-style navigation actually useful for this repo's readers?
  • Does the current version do a better job of getting a robot builder to the next useful answer with fewer distractions?
  • Would Quartz improve the experience enough to justify a site migration and workflow change?
  1. Open the Before page.
  2. Open the After page.
  3. Ask which one better fits a person arriving with a concrete robotics problem versus a person exploring a connected note system.
